Silly Poses!

Kate with her silly poses. I think she is so pretty that every picture or different expression is fun for me to see.

Bye-bye!

Katie Pootie Pie

I don't know how she got the nickname Katie-pootie-pie, but I often sing to her,"Katie Pootie Pie, you are my little cutie pie...Katie Pootie Pie, you are so cute!"
One time, Aunt Shannon joined in singing it with me and Kate was in awe and just smiling! It was pretty cute.

These are pictures of Kate after I picked her up from preschool. I didn't think about the rain the previous week when I dressed her in a cream dress and tights, and Kate does not let her apparel slow her down on the playground! From the looks of it, she had a good time!!

Kate is using her new baby carrier! It's exactly like the one I carried her around China in, but made for a doll! Her small baby is the one she got for Christmas.

What Did Santa Bring You?

On Christmas morning, after we open our presents, we all bring food to Aunt Shannon's house for a big brunch/lunch. There's a lot of people...aunts, uncles, cousins, and my Grandma and Grandpa. Everyone eats (and eats and eats!) and we open presents for each other and laugh and talk together.

After we're there for a couple hours, we head down to the park a couple blocks away, and everyone plays soccer. My Dad and Uncle Sebastian are usually leading the pack. There are a lot of boys in our family, big ones and little ones!
We head back to the house, and someone inevitably turns on the 24 hour marathon of A Christmas Story and we watch it together plopped on the couch or on the carpet. It's a good day. :)

Murphy gets a new bone every Christmas. He sometimes doesn't even chew it, but will go and bury it, making sure that no one is watching him.

Ryan, and the other little boys, all got a new transformer from Grandma.

Cousin Brian trying to open her toy.

Cousin Evan trying to open the same toy!

Aunt Shannon finally got it open!!

Tinkerbells fairy friend from Grandma. (yay!)

Yay! It's almost Christmas!!

I know I'm behind on the blog, but I've got lots of cute pictures to put up!

A giggling Ryan and Kate rockin' around the Christmas tree!
(Just ignore the Christmas boxes and stack of clean laundry that are not put up yet! :)
I'm not anticipating either of them performing on Dancing With The Stars anytime soon! :)

Kate's Christmas performance.

The funniest thing about preschool performances is how many things go wrong...kids yawning, laughing (or crying), falling down. Sometimes I'm laughing so hard I can hardly hold the camera straight.

I think this was the last song (aside from We Wish You A Merry Christmas) and a few of the boys got a little...overzealous! A couple of the quieter kids had their fingers in their ears! The little girl in red and black is Kate's best friend. She is actually a Korean adoptee!

After the singing was a Christmas party for Kate's class. She was the official napkin-passer-outer.

The mom who owns a bakery made all the kids a cookie with their name on it. Very sweet!
